Jackson Police Find 15 Pounds of Pot

Jackson authorities confiscated 15 pounds of marijuana in a traffic stop.

Police say last Friday they stopped a car on Highway 49 near Presidential Drive.

A K-9 unit alerted officers to the marijuana. Authorities say the driver, Terri Burks, and passenger, Cassie Cage were on their way to Clarksdale. Both were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
