JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson State opened SWAC play with four games in seven days and coach Tevester Anderson says fatigue may have played a role in the Tigers 1-3 start in conference play.
The Tigers are in the middle of a four day break where the team can recover and prepare for Saturday's game against Prairie View A&M.
"We just need some time to continue to develop and I think we'll get there. I think the next couple of games, we'll be a much better basketball team but we can't let disappointments and failures get us down. We just have to show some resiliency and bounce back and keep going forward," said Anderson.
Prairie View visits JSU on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
