JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The frosty and chilly start to the morning came in as cold as promised; so the scarf's came out in full force this morning. Temps began in the mid 20s with the winds dropping the wind chill to the upper teens in some areas. Expect increasing sunshine and a high of 48 degrees; winds W 10-15 mph.
Tonight we'll have clear skies and fast dropping temps once again. We'll fall right back to the mid 20s once again. and the winds will stay out of the west at only 5 mph. There's a better chance of frost Saturday morning due to the increase in moisture in the atmosphere.
Tomorrow we start off chilly, but warm to the norm for this time of the year. Mostly sunny skies and feeling warmer. Temps will rise into he upper 50s; making it feel a little bit better.
Sunday is expected to get even warmer. Highs will be in the 60s for Sunday, after starting off in the morning below freezing.
