One of Jackson's local animal shelters will be featured on a national cable channel Friday night.
The "Community Animal Rescue and Adoption" shelter, commonly referred to as CARA will be featured on the "Animal Planet" series called Confessions "Animal Hoarders."
The show takes a look at individuals who love animals so much they can't stop taking them in their homes. CARA's shelter manager said Friday's show will feature Jackson area residents.
It's "a group of young people that just loved animals and they thought they were just rescuing and didn't have the money to neuter, spay and also pay for the medical they actually needed, but they loved their animals they were taking the best care they could, but it just got out of hand," said Madden.
The show, "Confessions: Animal Hoarding" will air on "Animal Planet," on Friday at 9:00 P.M.
