Vicksburg Police are investigating a shooting at a convenience store Monday night.
It happened at 1108 Bowmar Avenue around 6:50 Monday evening.
Vicksburg Deputy Chief Mitchell Dent tells WLBT News a customer was shot at the 5 Star Food Mart.
Thomas Flagg apparently got into an argument with Jalal Hizam, a clerk at the store.
Hizam followed Flagg outside where the argument continued and became physical.
Hizam pulled out a weapon and fired several rounds.
Flagg was hit in the right thigh.
He is being treated and kept for observation at a Vicksburg hospital.
Hizam was arrested.
Hizam is being charged with aggravated assault and held without bond at the Warren County jail.
