Rankin County supervisors are considering an ordinance regarding animal shelters in the county.
The board continued its discussion on the ordinance Tuesday.
The issue is Rankin County's sole no-kill animal shelter, Animal Rescue Fund.
There have been complaints from neighbors over the noise and conditions at its facilities.
A.R.F. currently has roughly 260 dogs on its property.
The proposed ordinance includes a suggested limit of 50 dogs housed at each facility, with a maximum number of 10 allowed outside at any given time.
