The start of the day featured some patchy frost in various locations around the state. However the day features a quick changeover to mild conditions as early as the mid afternoon hours. We are looking for a high in the mid 60s, which is well above the norm for this time of the year. Also, the winds are picking up, dramatically to be honest. Anticipate a warm breeze from the south moving steadily at 10-15 mph; and well have occasional gusts up to 25 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight we will see an increase in moisture in the atmosphere manifest itself in two different ways. Initially we'll see scattered clouds to kick in as the sun goes down. And during the midnight hour and early morning Friday will feature some patchy fog as well. Winds will be south at 5-10 mph.
Friday we could see a slight chance of isolated showers in the afternoon. Partly sunny skies and staying very breezy. Highs in the mid 70s, so it will be warm, if not down right hot, during the afternoon hours. Partly sunny skies will also include winds powering out of the south at 10-20 mph; and occasional gusts up to 35 mph. There's also a 20% chance of rain.
Friday night Mostly cloudy with chance of shower in the evening, then partly cloud with a chance of shower and slight chance of T-storms during the late night hours. Temps will drop to the 60s overnight. Saturday we'll maintain a 50% chance of rain, winds SW 10-15.
