Coming up this afternoon on WLBT

Friday is finally here and I'm Howard Ballou with a look at some of the news stories you will see on WLBT.

WLBT's on Bert Case to the rescue! After a 12-hour standoff, Madison County authorities come up empty handed, but the fugitive turns himself into veteran WLBT anchor and reporter Bert Case. We have the dramatic video.

Also, Capitol reporter Mike McDaniel tells us how the trusty program is coming to an end at the governor's mansion, as the legal fight over pardoned criminals makes it's way into court.

Plus, the accused killer of a two-year-old boy remains free on 100-thousand dollars bond. Christopher Bradley appeared in Hinds County court in Raymond to plead not guilty to charges of murder and aggravated assault.

Stormy weather coming our way? Chief Meteorologist Barbie Bassett will have your full First Alert Forecast.

Belhaven basketball picks up a star player from the Jackson area. Sports Director Rob Jay will have details and all of your scores and highlights.

Of course, you will see any breaking news first on WLBT and you can follow us on Facebook, Twitter and
