Accused killer of 2-year-old out on bond

Posted: Updated:
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The accused killer of a two-year-old boy remained free on $100,000 bond Friday evening.

Christopher Bradley appeared in Hinds County Court in Raymond Friday morning and pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and aggravated assault.

The charges stem from a drive-by shooting in September. In that shooting on Donaldson Drive, police believe Bradley shot-and-killed two-year-old Romerion Rhodes, while severely injuring the boy's father, Robert McGee. McGee's mother, Linda McGee says they live in fear everyday with Bradley out of jail.

"All we know is he killed my grand baby, he almost killed my son and I just don't think the judge decision was right. I really think he should have upped the bond. Put him back in jail, let him stay there until he goes to court. My son will never walk again, my grandson will never walk again," McGee stated.

McGee is even more upset that she was never notified when Bradley made bond and was released from jail.
