Mailing a letter just got more costly

Starting Sunday mailing a letter just got a little more costly. The U.S. Postal Service now charges .45 cents for a first class stamp. That's just one of several rate increases that went into effect Sunday.

Postcards go up .03 cents to .32 cents each.

Letters to Canada and Mexico will cost .85 cents and other international destinations will cost $1.05.
