A school bus runs over the hood of a car in Clinton just off the Natchez Trace Parkway.
The hood and rear of the blue Mustang GT were smashed as the bus rolled over the top of the car.
A fire department responder said the driver of the Mustang is a minor.
The driver was handcuffed on the scene. He was then placed on a stretcher and transported to a local hospital.
Officials say there were no children on the bus at the time of the accident.
The school bus driver did not appear to be injured.
United States Park Rangers have jurisdiction over this case.
That could indicate one of the vehicles involved had been on the Natchez Trace which is near Norrell Road.
The wreck remains under investigation.
