JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Jackson firefighters were blocked by a train on the tracks and had to watch a large warehouse burn to the ground Tuesday afternoon. The structure was located on private property off Clinton Boulevard.
Skycopter 3 captured the fully involved fire shortly after it broke out around 1:30p.m. Multiple fire units responded to the scene. The first firefighters on the scene were blocked by a train for five minutes on the road leading to the large workshop.
Rushing Drive is the only way in and out of the gated property. Property owners said their livestock and other animals were safe.
No one was injured. Fire investigators are on the scene trying to determine what started the blaze.
