Rain and isolated storms will continue through the morning, with additional rain and storms developing this afternoon. Rain may be heavy at times.
This afternoon, a few storms may reach the severe threshold, with damaging wind gusts and large hail the main threats.
Rain chances will taper off tonight. By Saturday afternoon, a cold front will be moving in the area. I expect rain and storms to develop ahead of the front. Once again, a few storms may become severe with a hail and wind threat.
Highs today and Saturday will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. We'll turn cooler behind the front on Sunday.
