Inmate escapes after attending father's wake

The search continues for an inmate who escaped from two Wilkinson County Correctional Facility officers.

Johnny Hall, Jr. was last seen in Picayune as he was being escorted from his father's wake at Picayune Funeral Home at 12:30 Friday afternoon. 

Mississippi Department of Corrections officials say Hall jumped into a black vehicle driven by a blond female. 

Hall is serving a 17-year sentence at Wilkinson County Correctional Facility for three convictions of burglary from Pearl River County.
