No bond for pursuit suspect

RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The suspect involved in a high speed chase earlier this week was still behind bars Friday night.

Rankin County Judge Kent McDaniel set no bond for 31 year old Kristopher Lambert at his initial appearance Friday morning.

Lambert faces charges of auto theft, felony fleeing, giving false information to a police officer, and leaving the scene of an accident.

The judge also set Lambert's preliminary hearing for later this month.

MDOC has placed a hold order on Lambert for violation of probation.
