Burglar quickly caught after leaving stuck vehicle in back yard

GREENVILLE, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A man accused of burglarizing a Washington county home was quickly captured after his vehicle was found stuck in the back yard of the residence.

Washington County Assistant Chief Billy Barber said homeowners returned to find a Toyota Camry behind their home on Windmill Road.

Deputies found the back door pried open around 12:15 Friday afternoon.

Inside thieves had taken five shotguns and rifles, two handguns and two big screen televisions.

About two hours later deputies arrested the owner of the vehicle 39 year old Sheldon Brady of Greenville.

He was captured while riding with his brother in the city.

Barber said all of the stolen property was found inside Brady's residence.
