Multi-car accident near The Stack on I-55

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Rain slicked roads may have led to a multi-car accident Saturday evening near the stack.

MHP Spokesman Sgt. James Walker says the three car collision happened around 7:00 p.m. in the southbound lane of I-55.

Investigators say rubber necking and not paying attention to traffic contributed to the fender benders. One vehicle stopped causing other cars to rear end each other.

AMR responded, but no injuries were reported.
