Firefighters battle three separate house fires - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
Three separate house fires in the capital city kept firefighters very busy Sunday from morning until afternoon.
Deputy Chief R. D. Simpson said crews responded to the first structure fire just before 10 a.m. on Ferncreek Drive.
Two hours later firefighters put out a blaze at a home on Cummins Street.
While still on the scene of that fire, a third fire was reported.
Around 12:30 p.m., units rushed to a house fire on Reddoch Drive.
Simpson said all three fires are in the same vicinity, but investigators do not know if they are connected.
He had no reports of injuries.
The cause of all three fires remains under investigation.
