In fact -- research shows eating dessert with breakfast might actually help you shed pounds! Food experts say people who eat sweets in addition to a high-protein breakfast lose more weight. It may be that metabolism is more active in the morning -- and that indulging a little makes you less likely to crave sugary snacks later on.
