Water Woes

You don't miss the water until the well runs dry, is just the beginning of the frustration for many people in Jackson tonight.  This is Maggie Wade with a look at some of the stories we'll have for you tonight at 10 on WLBT.

Thousands of Jackson residents,  some businesses and at least one hospital are being impacted by a water main leak that has placed their area of the city under a boil water alert.  Warren Strain will have the latest.

The search continues for two men involved in dragging a Hinds County deputy.  Officers say they know who the suspects are and hope they will turn themselves in.

Also tonight with songs like Only You, My Prayer, and The Great Pretender, The Platters were hitting all the right notes with veterans in Jackson tonight.  We will take you to a special concert to honor their service to our nation.

While some Jackson residents are dealing with water woes, the rest of us may be water logged. Chief Meteorologist Barbie Bassett will tell us about the possibility of severe weather moving in Saturday.

And it was a big night for high school basketball. Stephen Gunter will have highlights and scores.
