JPD corruption case in court

Good morning to you on this Monday from WLBT's Brandon Artiles and I hope you had a good weekend.

The day is starting out at 55 degrees and there's a possibility of rain today. Meteorologist Paul Williams will get us prepared with his First Alert Forecast.

Making headlines, one of the three Jackson Police officers accused of accepting bribes for moving illegal drugs will appear in federal court today. 3 On Your Side's Jewell Hillery will preview the proceedings in a live report.

Plus, on a lighter note a local restaurant hosts an Oscars watch party which celebrated the nominations of "The Help".

Also, in politics Andy Taggart and Jere Nash hash out the state legislatures approach to charter schools in Mississippi. They'll also assess the recent action in the GOP 2012 primaries in today's Red/Blue Review.

We've got plenty more where that came from and it's all getting started at the top of the hour.

Please join us from 5 to 7 and make it a great Monday!
