CLINTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Clinton police are investigating a disturbing post on Craigslist.
The posting was made just after 2 PM Monday, offering a free baby boy. The 7-pound 6-ounce boy was born on February 17, according to the listing.
Clinton Police Chief Don Byington says his investigators have located the owner of the phone listed in the post. It belongs to a high-school student, and police do not believe that person posted the baby on Craigslist.
Police have made a request to Craigslist asking for information on whoever put the baby on the site.
