BRANDON, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say an argument that started over the weekend in the Robinhood community of Rankin County may have led to a fatal shooting.
The Clarion-Ledger reports (http://on.thec-l.com/zzYXop) 52-year-old Richard Glenn Lewis is awaiting an initial appearance before Rankin County Court Judge Kent McDaniel on a murder charge in the death of 46-year-old Christopher Eugene Hankins of Brandon.
District Attorney Michael Guest said it appears Hankins had come to Lewis' home Monday to pick up some belongings when the fatal shooting occurred.
Sheriff Bryan Bailey said the motive appeared to be an ongoing argument that started sometime Sunday.
It was not immediately clear whether Lewis has an attorney.
