The morning chill follows the pushing through of a cold front in our area, dropping the temps in the 40s. The drier atmosphere contributed to the sharply defined cut in the air, despite temps staying in the mid to upper 40s. Mostly sunny skies expected today with highs in the mid 60s. The winds will continue from the north at 6-11 mph.
Tonight we will feel a quick drop in the temps, especially when the sun goes down. There will also be a shift in the winds, coming out of the east and turning south. The clear skies will also aid in keeping in a bit chilly, look for temps to drop into the mid 30s.
Tomorrow more sunshine, but more in the way of cloud cover as well. Scattered clouds developing in the afternoon will dramatically change the comfortable feel in the air, the additional moisture will make the difference. Also, temps will rise to near 70 degrees and the winds shift from the south at 10-15 mph. Wednesday thru the weekend will feature a threat of rain each day.
