Gov. Bryant's agenda after bills go through committees

Posted: Updated:
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Many of the legislative bills pushed as part of Governor Phil Bryant's Mississippi Works Agenda are still alive.

A bill to create dual student enrollment programs, an energy bill to set state energy policies and a bill to examine all business regulations in the state will be making their way before lawmakers.

Most of the bills are currently in the house.

"We feel good about our Mississippi works agenda and those elements involved in it that are on the House floor," Gov. Bryant said. "I believe they'll pass and be on their way to the senate."

Bryant was hoping an energy bill would also come from the Senate to go along with the one from the House, but that didn't happen.
