C Spire unveils faster mobile broadband - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
If you are a C Spire Wireless customer looking forward to faster service then you can circle September 2012 on your calendar. The Ridgeland, Miss., based wireless communications company announced Thursday morning that they would be offering data plans this fall featuring a new 4G LTE (fourth generation long term evolution) high-speed mobile broadband service.
C Spire is investing $60 million to bring the high speed service to 20 Mississippi markets which will include: Jackson-metro area, Mississippi Gulf Coast, Brookhaven, Columbia, Natchez, Petal, Hattiesburg, McComb, Lucedale, Oxford, Tupelo, Corinth, Starkville, Pontotoc, Booneville, Columbus, West Point, Cleveland, Greenville, Greenwood, Clarksdale, Meridian, parts of Lauderdale County and Yazoo City.
The new service will be available to approximately 1.2 million Mississippians.
