JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Several people are in custody in connection with a morning house burglary in south Jackson. It happened around 11:30 Friday morning on Brookley street.
Witnesses say they saw four people break into 1004 Brookley street. When police arrived, four males who appeared to be in their teens fled on foot.
After a short chase, officers were able to round up three of them and place them in squad cars.
Two women who apparently tried to give a ride to one of the teens were also taken into custody.
It's not clear if anything was taken from the home.
Police say a strong neighborhood watch program in the area, led to the arrests.
