Wet pattern next week - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
The weekend is here and, at least for now, we are getting a chance to dry out. Rain will return though, as early as Sunday for some.
High pressure will slide east of our area on today. Dry air will remain in place and there will be some sun. Highs will be near 70.
A stalled front to our south will lift north back over our area late Saturday into Sunday. Clouds will overspread the area and scattered showers will be possible. Even warmer air will move in behind the front.
Low pressure over Oklahoma will continue to help lift the warm front to our north, as cold front develops over Texas. This cold front will move in on Monday and it looks as if it may put the breaks on over our area. This will keep clouds and periods of rain/storms over our area every day next week.
Severe weather chances look very low at this time.
