Clouds will thicken overnight, but most of the rain will stay to our west through Sunday morning. I can't rule out a few light showers Sunday morning, but rain chances will be better in the afternoon with scattered showers looking likely. A few thunderstorms are possible as well.
The highest rain chances will be Sunday night into Monday as a cold front moves in, then stalls over our area. This front will weaken through the week, but given the warm, moist air we will have in place, I believe we'll have daily showers and thunderstorms that form. These will mainly be in the afternoon and evening hours and will be scattered in nature.
Temperatures will warm through the new week. Highs will return to the upper 70s and lower 80s for Spring Break.
Reminder: Daylight Saving Time will begin at 2am Sunday. This means you'll want to set your clock(s) ahead by one hour tonight. This is also a great time to replace batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, as well as your weather radio.
