Saturday's Spring time weather brought scores of people out for a day of fun in the sun at the Jackson Zoo.
Zoo goers waited to get inside of the capital city's only wild animal attraction. There were carnival games, face painting, a space jump and even a magician.
Rosemary Jalink, Director of Marketing and Programs for the Jackson Zoo says it is a celebration of Spring and a great beginning for children taking a week out of school for spring break.
Zoo officials expected a turnout of about 3,000 people Saturday.
