JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Mississippi is now battleground state for the three leading republican presidential candidates.

All three candidates made campaign stops in the Magnolia State Sunday with less than 48 hours before Mississippians go to the polls Tuesday.

Presidential front runner Mitt Romney made a campaign stop Sunday night at Jerry's Catfish House in Florence. Governor Phil Bryant and Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves were also in attendance. Governor Bryant formally endorsed Romney last week.

Gingrich addressed a crowd of supporters at Brandon City Hall. The Georgia native is looking to Mississippi and Alabama to help him pull off a victory Tuesday. He's spent the past several days in the south courting voters. The GOP Presidential candidate vows to stay in the race despite stiff competition from front runner Mitt Romney and second place holder Rick Santorum.

Meanwhile, Romney's closest rival in the delegate count is former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum. He held a campaign rally in Jackson Wednesday and Sunday he is blitzing the Magnolia State.

Santorum attended church Sunday morning in Tupelo.

He then held a meet-and-greet with the patrons of Peppers Deli.

He is coming off a win in the Kansas Caucuses Saturday, which earned him an 33 additional delegates.

Santorum then flew to campaign stops scheduled in Meridian and Gulfport.
