Search for camper ongoing

COLLINS, Miss. (AP) - Search efforts continue for a camper who fell into the Okatoma Creek.

Covington County Emergency Management Agency Director Greg Sanford tells The Hattiesburg American (http://hatne.ws/yWzpAf ) divers searched until late Sunday night for the 49-year-old man who slipped into the creek around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Sanford says divers were to be back in the water Monday by 7 a.m.

He says witnesses called 911 after hearing the man fall into the creek.

Sanford said search and rescue teams from Jones and Lamar counties are using underwater sonar equipment in an effort to locate a body.
