Spring break is on for many Mississippi school children and, so far, the weather is cooperating.

Good afternoon, I'm Howard Ballou with a look at some of the news stories you will see on WLBT.

No sports or other extra-curricular competition? That could happen if Jackson Public Schools officials can't convince state officials that the district should keep its accreditation. They'll get that chance April 26th. We'll have an update.
