JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Authorities arrested a man who robbed Discount Pawn and Jewelry Tuesday morning.
The pawn shop is located at 3770 Highway 80.
Colendula Green, Jackson Police spokesperson, says a man walked into the pawn shop with a gun.
He was able to steal several weapons.
The man took off with one of the employee's vehicle, a black Hummer that was recovered Tuesday afternoon by Jackson Police at Butts Park in southwest Jackson.
Later that evening, 22 year old Arthur Barnes was taken into custody by JPD Detectives and ATF Agents at the Oak Brook Apartments in Ridgeland.
JPD says additional charges against Barnes are pending
