Nail Biter for Presidential Primary!

The Republican Presidential Primary has been too close to call so far! And while voters were casting ballots the Mississippi Valley State basketball team had a heart stopping finish at the NCAA tourney!

Good evening this is Maggie Wade with some of the stories you'll see tonight at 10 on WLBT.

Rick Santorum has been leading by a close margin in the Republican Presidential Primary.  Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich have been neck and neck with Santorum since the polls closed at 7pm.

In other races, incumbents,  Senator Roger Wicker, and Congressmen Bennie Thompson and Gregg Harper were declared winners in their races.

This update..Jackson police make an arrest in the robbery of a pawn shop earlier today.

Motorists will have to watch out for detour signs on the Natchez Trace between Ridgeland and Clinton.  The stretch could be closed for up to a year.

More summer like temperatures for hump day!  Chief Meteorologist Barbie Bassett will tell us when the rain will move in to help move some of the pollen out.

And Sports Director Rob Jay will have more on Mississippi Valley State's heartbreaking one point loss in tonight's NCAA Basketball tournament.
