We'll continue to keep things rather warm going into the weekend. High temperatures through at least early next week will be in the lower and middle 80s. This is a good 15 degrees above normal for this time of year. Nighttime lows will be in the lower 60s.
Rain chances remain low for the next few days, but late afternoon and early evening widely scattered storms are possible. Any storms that do manage to form could get severe and produce large hail and gusty winds. Any storms that do form will fall apart after sunset.
The pattern will undergo some changes around next Wednesday. This should give us a better chance for widespread rain and storms, along with somewhat cooler temperatures.
