AMR busy during St. Paddy's Day Parade

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Emergency crews responded to several calls along the parade area in downtown Jackson Saturday.

According to American Medical Response there were 10 calls for help during the events.

Nearly all of the calls were for someone becoming unconscious during the festivities.

Ten people were transported to area hospitals. None of the patients had life threatening injuries or illnesses.

AMR said there were no extended delays due to traffic or congestion in the downtown area.
