JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A watchful neighbor helped Jackson Police catch a house burglar in west Jackson.
Just before 2:00 Monday afternoon, a resident called police after seeing two young men break into a home on Queen Alexandria Lane.
When officers responded the men fled, leading to a foot chase through the area.
One of the suspected burglars was caught and placed in custody.
Officers also recovered a backpack with items that may have been taken from the home.
It's believed the burglars broke a front window to gain entry.
