WARREN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Three Texas men were in a Vicksburg courtroom Wednesday morning facing crystal methamphetamine charges.
A routine traffic stop by the Mississippi Highway Patrol netted $250,000 worth of the illegal drug.
Leonel Serrano-Piedra, 22, Transito Monrroy-Garcia, 44, and Mardomio Diaz, 36, of Austin, Texas face charges of possession and intent to distribute crystal methamphetamine.
The men were pulled over Monday night on Interstate 20 near mile marker 11 in Warren County.
The state troopers noticed their stories did not add up.
Even so the men consented to a search of their P.T. Cruiser.
That's when 21.5 pounds of crystal meth was discovered in the dashboard.
They are being held without bond and will be bound over to the next grand jury.
