I-55 Northbound reopens at Madison Exit

MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

All lanes of Interstate 55 in Madison County are back open Wednesday night.

A Dollar General 18-wheeler jackknifed at the Highway 463 bridge in Madison just after 6:00pm.

No word on the driver's condition or what caused the accident.

But according to MDOT traffic had to be rerouted for a short time.

Motorists were diverted to Old Agency Road in Ridgeland.

All the lanes reopened just after 7:00 Wednesday night.
