Early morning fog has been a bit dense in some isolated areas, making viability dropping to less than 2 miles or worse in some places. Cloud cover and moisture will continue to diminish during the mid morning hours and give way to more sunshine; warming us up to the upper 70s.
Winds will shift and continue to move from the west 10-15 mph.
Tonight may get a little chilly, this is particularly for counties along the Mississippi river after the midnight hour.
Mainly clear skies for the majority of the state will set the stage for a fast drop in temps. Additionally, the drop in winds during the overnight period will also aid in giving us that 'cool' feel overnight.
Lows will be in the 40s and the winds remaining light.
Tomorrow we kick off the weekend with tremendous sunshine, warming us back to the 70s on Saturday, and then into the 80s on Sunday.
With high pressure settling directly over the state, we may not see a single cloud in the sky all weekend long.
Fishing may not be so great because of high pressure, but it's going to be nice nonetheless.
