Now to a large weekend of Frivolity in Fondren.
The Jackson neighborhood is the place to be for a fun-filled weekend earlier Friday big hats and big hair were in Vogue at the big hat luncheon at Sal & Mookie's. It's all part of the Sweet Potato Queens invasion of the Fondren neighborhood.
It was a Madder Hatter's dream. Hats in every size and color. The finest fashions made for queens!
"We're going to turn it out. Sweet Potato Queens. Mahogany Dream Queens. Ya'll come to the parade tomorrow and look for us," said member of Mahogany Dream Queens.
"Our agenda for the parade later on is saving everyone's souls from the Bible Belt and tomorrow we're going to have, I think we're just going to be good ole fashioned nuns helping so save Jackson. We're on our world tour," added Sisters of the Bad Habit.
The world famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be presented at the parade by Southern Beverage Company.
You can get an up close and personal viewing with the incredible horses. They will also be in Saturday night's parade in Fondren.
