Second man arrested in MSU shooting

HINDS COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The U. S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force has arrested a second man in connection with the shooting death of a student on the campus of Mississippi State University.

According to a university news release, Duntae Harvey, 21, of Jackson was arrested Monday and charged with capital murder. WLBT News has learned the shooting suspect turned himself in to marshals at an apartment complex in Jackson.

Mason Perry Jones, 21, of Jackson was charged with capital murder earlier Monday. A third man is still being sought.

All are accused in the shooting death of John Sanderson, 21, who was killed outside a dorm room in Evans Hall on Saturday.
