More of the Dry Stuff

Posted: Updated:

Early patchy fog is expected to slow down the commute in the early morning hours, this is especially along I-20 Westbound from Jackson going toward Vicksburg. The start of the hovering moisture will come to a quick end by the mid morning hours, highs are expecting highs in the mid 80s. Winds are pushing from the south at 10-15 mph.

Tonight mostly clear skies should be the expectation for most of the state. Overnight lows will be in the mid to lower 50s, with relatively light winds. Clear conditions will continue into tomorrow as well.

Tomorrow a few more skies will moving into the area. Fronts are going be on the move in the Midwest, and begin to bear down on us here in the deep south. However the threat of rain will still hold off until the end of the work week.

By Friday and Saturday we may have to contend with a few storms.  40% chances of showers will kick in during the afternoon, and although the chances are low, we could see a few storms become severe.
