JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The third suspect, whose picture was released Tuesday morning, turned himself in Tuesday afternoon in Florida. 21-year-old Trent DeUndra Crump gave both Jackson and Flowood addresses.
The second suspect, 21-year-old Dontae Harvey, surrendered Monday night at an address on Jayne Avenue in Jackson.
Sunday night 21-year-old Mason Perry Jones, who had been listed as a person of interest in the killing from the beginning, was arrested in Memphis when he got off of a bus. All three have been charged with capital murder.
"I've got a son that goes to Mississippi State, so I took this rather personally when I heard of this" said Richard Griffin, Supervisory Inspector for the U. S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force. "The same thing for the Jackson State shooting. This is something you want no family to go through. Any time something like this happens, my people take it personally, and we make an extra effort to make sure these people are located and brought to justice."
The U. S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force also arrested Dontae Harvey.
"Mr. Harvey agreed to surrender himself to marshals at an address on Jayne Avenue, here in Jackson" said Griffin. "When we arrived he was standing in the front yard. We took him into custody without incident and took him to the Hinds County Jail to await transportation back to Starkville."
WTVA-TV in Tupelo is reporting John Sanderson was shot in the chest and abdomen with a .32 caliber weapon.
