JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Friends and family members of a slain Jackson State student led a march through campus Wednesday. Nolan Ryan Henderson was shot during an altercation, allegedly with football players, early Sunday at the Palisades apartments just off campus.
Henderson's mother Sonja, and her other son Dameon, led the march which ended at the spot where Henderson died.
Sonja Henderson begged students to provide information that would lead to an arrest in the murder.
Lee Frison, the Henderson family attorney said he met with Jackson State officials and Jackson Police investigators Tuesday.
Frison says police have two weapons which they're waiting for ballistic reports on. They also said they interviewed some people who witnessed the shooting, some of whom were football players.
Investigators also want to talk to 11 football players, but have not been able to get them to come in for interviews.
They also say one has apparently left the state.
