Two Virginia men held on drug charges

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two men from Newport News, Virginia, were arrested for drugs this morning following a traffic stop on Interstate 20 in Pelahatchie.

Thirty-one-year-old Tyson Richburg and 29-year old Deonta Faulcon are charged with possession of nine pounds, one ounce of marijuana with intent to distribute. The pot was found in the trunk of the car in a gift-wrapped birthday present.

Both men are being held in the Rankin County Detention Center awaiting their initial appearances.
