Accused shooter of 4-year-old has court date

Friday a Vicksburg man had a court date for charges stemming from a shooting that injured a four-year-old boy.

John Phillip Hart, 24, is charged with 16 counts of attempted aggravated assault, one count of aggravated assault and one count of shooting into an occupied dwelling.

On the night of January 6th, a home on Waterwell Road in the Kings Community was showered by dozens of bullets.

The bullets struck Arkeevian Walker several times, but none of his injuries were life-threatening.
