MS Orchestra performed closing concert

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra performed their closing concert for the Bravo series Saturday night at Thalia Mara Hall.

The MSO performed Benjamin Britten's "Young Person's Guide To the Orchestra" then Beethoven's Ninth Symphony featuring a 160 member chorus.

The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra received a $141,000 donation check Saturday night from the volunteers at the Jackson Symphony League.
