A unique art show in Ridgeland attracted participants from across the country and as far as the Middle East.
The Renaissance Fine Arts Festival showcased some of America's finest artists.
It is sponsored by the Ridgeland Tourism Office.
Artists came from 26 states and Israel to show off their works.
This was not the traditional arts and crafts show but an invitation only exhibit.
It featured 14 different categories.
There were works in wood, glass, clay, jewelry, sculpture, photography, painting and other media.
"We've invited artist from all around the country not just regionally. It is a juried show which is sort of a new concept to Mississippi. It is a competition to actually have the opportunity to be invited and to exhibit," said Artistic Director and participating artist A. C. Porter.
This is the fourth year the Renaissance Arts Festival has been held.
